10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cooper who coordinated and got wet, Don who hauled the
trailer, and Dean who got our boat floating. Thanks also to
Carmen and Phil who were in the water supporting tired, cold
swimmers, and Kitty, Greg and Gwenna who took photos.

July 4: General Meeting,
Bob Lamb Training Center
July 15, Snorkeling/Scuba Diving Demo: We had a great turn out for the demonstration at Gregoire Lake. We introduced about 40 kids and adults to snorkeling and scuba. Greg and Darina put on the gear while we explained the purpose of each item. Then kids picked a question from a bucket and answered the question to receive a prize, mostly snorkels. Rob got in the water and helped them figure the snorkels out, while others helped answer questions. We got front page coverage by Today Paper. Thanks to Darina & Kitty for organizing, Kent for PR, Phil & Greg for suiting up, Rob for getting in the water, Lyse, Daniel, and Ken, Michelle and others for coming out.

A friendly
competition designed to help people develop diving and search
and recovery skills, and clean up the underwater environment.
