Pool Sessions
We can book pool time to ensure your gear is functioning, practice buoyancy and safety skills, and play!

   West Edmonton Mall Dives
In the winter months it can be hard to find places to keep up your skills in Northern Alberta (unless you're an ice diver). Our Society has in the past booked trips to West Edmonton Mall submarine tank area. The depth is 20 feet, it's considered a cold water dive, and is fun! Currently this program is not operating, but we're hopeful it will open up again soon.

Equipment
Zodiac boat, motor, boat trailer, equipment trailer, 2 portable air compressors, tanks, weight belts, and free equipment rental is available for any club members. Take them diving some day/weekend, and practice your skills!

Training
The Wet and Wild Society pays for
active members to take:

Emergency First Response Training (PADI) (8 hours, first aid)
Dan 02 Training (4 hours, operation of oxygen first aid kit)
Small Boat Operator Certification (required for operating small boats)
Air Compressor Operation (4 hours, correct operation of portable air compressors)
CPR and Defibrillator (AED) Training (heart attack first response machine)
Transportation of Dangerous Goods TDG (required for transporting air tanks)

The Wet and Wild Society also has funds for partially reimbursing active, current members for other training and skill practice/mastery they pursue.
