a.m. Gregoire Lake Beach Clean-up. Thanks so all who helped, both on
land and in the water, snorkeling and diving. There was a snorkeling
and diving demo for kids with lots of prizes. After that there was a b-b-que
for club. Thanks to Jordan for organizing, and Ron for bringing
the trailer.
Saturday, June 27, 11 a.m. We cleaned up the Anzac Day Area beach area, on land and in the water. Thanks to Karl who dove, and Robin and Jordan who waded and snorkeled in cold water. We'll cleaned up so kids and triathlon participants don't hurt their feet on submerged items and fish hooks. B-b-que again. Four of our scholarship recipients came last weekend and this - Jordan, Bailey, Anna and Emilie. Great to see them!
Sunday, June 28 6 a.m. Triathlon. We did a final water check for garbage and set up guides for swimmers. Then through the water portion of the triathlon we went out in a boat and support any tired divers. Thanks to Dean for organizing.
