Details! Details!
What is covered, what is not and other nitty gritties!
If you have
any questions, call Kitty 743-3123 and she can help you out.
Our goal is to help divers to improve their skills and confidence as
much as possible,
so you can be of service in our community.
If you are an active paid up member, we have lots to offer you!
Note: Our funding comes through casino proceeds and spending it is determined both by Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission guidelines and our club's guidelines. Gaming does not allow payment for any of your volunteer services. The point system is our club's method of ensuring people who are benefiting from Gaming funds are actively offering their diving services to our community.
Note: All expenditures must have receipts
Submit all itemized receipts to Kitty upon completion of the activity or course.
We cannot reimburse for alcohol or personal items.
For out of town events, Gaming allows us to reimburse you for food, accommodation, transportation, vehicle rental, and diving fees.
All training must be approved by our Society and Gaming first.
Please submit itemized receipt rather than credit card receipt when possible (especially food).
You must have receipts to show you have actually attended courses and conferences, and receipts to show you have dived.
When shore diving, you must also have receipts. Receipts of air fills from the local place are evidence of having dived.
You must have receipts for a minimum of 2 dives when out of province diving.
If you are travelling with air compressors for your air fills (ie. no receipts possible for air fills or diving), that information must be in the gaming request in advance.
Black out any credit/debit card numbers to protect yourself.
Ensure the business name is on the receipt.
If in doubt, give Kitty all your receipts and she'll wade through them.
